53 Wendell Reservation Policies
| Deposit Charged At Time Reservation is Made |

A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. For stays involving Daily Rates: At the time of your reservation your card will be charged for the entire amount of each reserved suite, or $500 - whichever is less - as a deposit. For stays involving Weekly or Monthly Rates: At the time of your reservation your card will be charged for half of the total for the reserved suite, or a minimum of 1 week of the stay(the weekly rate), whichever is greater - as a deposit. If your total reservation amount is greater than the initial deposit, you will be charged for the remaining amount on your reserved arrival date, using the credit card you provided to guarantee the reservation.

| Cancellation Policy |
* NOTE: The Cancellation policy below applies to daily and weekly rates only. Different Cancellation Policies may Apply to Stays with Discounted Monthly Rates.
Cancellations must be submitted by email to luxuryvictorian@yahoo.com and/or calling the reservation line at 866 653 9121. We will email you a cancellation confirmation within 24 HRS.
For stays based on DAILY RATES: If you cancel 14 days, or more, before the arrival date - 100% refund of deposit.
If you cancel 7 days, or more, (but less than 14 days) before
the arrival date - 50% refund of the deposit.
If you cancel less than 7 days before the arrival date, you do not get any refund of your deposit. For stays based on WEEKLY RATES: If you cancel 21 days, or more, before the arrival date - 100% refund of deposit.
If you cancel 14 days, or more, (but less than 21 days) before the arrival date - 50% refund of the deposit.
If you cancel 7days, or more, (but less than 14 days) before the arrival date - 25% refund of the deposit. If you cancel less than 7 days before the arrival date, you do not get any refund of your deposit.
For stays based on Monthly Rates:

| Noshow Policy |
* NOTE: The Noshow policy below applies to daily rates only. Different NoShow Policies may Apply to Stays with Discounted Weekly or Monthly Rates Please be advised: You will be charged for the entire amount of the reservation if you do not call to cancel, and simply do not show up on the arrival date. |
| Change Policy |
Changes to a reservation may be requested. They will be granted based on availability, and are subject to whatever min/max stay restrictions and rates that are in effect for the change dates.
No refunds for late arrivals or early departures |
| Selected Suite Policy |
Although every effort is made to accomodate you in your selected suite(s), in rare circumstances(less than 2% of all reservations to date), you may be accomodated in a different suite.

| Overbooking Policy |
In the rare situation of an overbooking of 53 Wendell (less than 1% of all reservations to date), you will be accomodated in a Harvard Square area hotel. In the past we have used the following hotels to accomodate guests in overbooking situations: the Sheraton Commander, the Charles Hotel, the Inn at Harvard, DoubleTree, and Irving House. 53 Wendell may pay for your accomodations in the alternate hotel, and you will charged as if you stayed at 53 Wendell, unless you may receive a full refund from 53 Wendell and pay for the alternate hotel directly.
| Early Check-In/Late Check-Out |
Normal Check-in time is 300pm, and normal check-out time is 12 Noon
An early check-in or late check-out may be requested. These requests are granted whenever the prior/next guest departure/arrival times, and cleaning schedule permit.
In order to accomodate the next guest in a timely manner, and ensure that the cleaners can access the suites to prepare the suite, we ask that you vacate the suite by the agreed upon Check-out Time.
As further motivation, late check-outs may result in a fine of 150USD. In addition, 53 Wendell reserves the right to move any baggage left in the suite after the agreed check-out time out of the suite.
A limited number of visitors parking permits are available for use that allow you to park on Wendell st and on other streets in the neighborhood. Technically, the permits may only be used by the same car for 1 day in the same parking spot. 53 Wendell makes these passes available on a first request/first serve basis. A $100 deposit (authorization to your credit card) is required to use the pass. The authorization will be cancelled if the permit is returned on the agreed return date. 53 Wendell is not responsible for any parking tickets that you may receive while using the parking permit. 53 Wendell also has one off-street driveway spot that may be requested and is available on a first request/first serve basis.
| Suite Damage/Change Policies |
We hope you enjoy your suite. They have been designed for your comfort.
If you would like to change the suite configuration significantly, please call for permission/assistance before doing so.
Leaving a suite with furniture in a significantly different configuration will result in a charge of up to 150USD for re-configuration of the suite.
In addition, Any damages caused to the suite and its belongings due to irregular use, such as, but not limited to, moving the furniture, appliances and accessories, or using furnishings/accessories for a purpose they were not intended, will be charged to the guest's credit card. The guest will be supplied with an itemization of damages. The damage charges may be in addition to any suite re-configuration fees.
